Our out of school care program consists of before school care and after school care. Before school care operates from 7:00am until school starts at 8:45am. After school care begins at 3:00pm when school is dismissed until closing at 6:00pm. We transport children to a variety of local schools, both in the mornings and in the afternoons. There is time after school for the children to work on their homework or reading and have a snack.

Keeping with our Reggio Emilia philosophy, our planned activities are based on the interests of the children. We provide the children with a variety of open ended art materials to explore and create with, as well as, lots of outdoor time that involve both free play and planned games and activities.

In our classroom after school, we support and encourage the children to be respectful of material and to problem solve independently. Professional Development Days/School Closures (i.e. Spring Break, Summer, and Winter Break)

Our out of school care program is open all day on all district wide professional development days and the school closures listed above. The cost for the day is $35, with extra activity fees as required.

We keep our professional development days and school closure days fun and interesting for the children by planning activities that are weather and season dependent, for example, trips to the skating rink, swimming pool, bird sanctuary, Delta Museum to name a few. For week long closures a separate schedule is created by the staff with many fun filled activities.

Schedules are provided to families prior to the school closure.
