KELLI DALZIEL
I’m a big goof who is a good listener, and has a heart of gold! I work in the 3-5 Program and my qualifications include: an Associates of Technical Arts Degree in Early Childhood Education, Certificate in Early childhood Education from Edmonds Community college in Washington USA, and my BC ECCE License to Practice.
A little bit about me
I am originally from California and have been living on the North West since 1995. I am a wife and mother of 4 children. I have three step children (a daughter and 2 sons) and my husband have a daughter together! My daughter and I dedicate some time every year to volunteer at the Scotiabank Canadian Fastpitch International Championship held in White Rock. Softball is a passion that my daughter and I share and I have the privilege of coaching my daughter’s team! When not at work my family and I enjoy rounds of golf, rock climbing and softball. One of my favorite hobbies is PHOTOGRAPHY and I especially love taking photos of children and families.
Me and Childcare
I have been working in the ECE field for 9 years and counting! I decided to become a preschool teacher because I have always valued what children have to say, how they think and how the view the world. I teach at Bright Eyes Academy because I love how the relationship between the children and the teachers blossom from an early point in their lives. This journey mostly begins in the infant and toddler program, and then watching the ever changing personalities as they enter the 3-5 program. We as teachers also have the privilege of connecting with our families on a closer level giving us the opportunity to better help out in whatever way we can. Though it is the first time I have worked in an all-day facility I have to say that it is really nice to be able to get into richer depth of our topics versus when I have taught half day preschool and discovery can sometimes be cut short because of time constraints.
Conclusion
I look forward to teaching and working with your child.
